Send Free SMS in Australia - WTF?
Depending on your carrier and the type of plan you're hooked, shooting a sms to your friend could cost a hefty 25c. Now imagine you are in a sms-tennis, if you are not Federer and didn't go for that down-the-line with your forehand, you ended up doing a 5 setter. And thats not ideal, isn't it?.
Fortunately in Australia, we are currently being spoilt by Intazaar. You can send as many sms as you want (I think), and with an ample 19" LCD and full size keyboard, who needs to be Federer? My SMSes are being sent and received pretty quick. Scary. Now most my tight-arse friends that I have around me, not surprisingly, joined the bandwagon. Happily.
The MMS feature (for those of you who do not go to school - it's picture instead of text) is a bit of a turn off. The receipient would need to log into Intazaar website to retrieve the bird sign that you sent. But who has time for bloody MMS?
No wucking forry - spamming is not out of order. The receipient of your sms will receive something like "You have just receive a free sms from XYZ through intazaar.com..." The rest of messages will be followed by the sign 'Z'.
Another product that is worth exploring is smspup. Like Intazaar you will need to register. The difference is you will receive a decent amount of relevant newletters. They are sent to you according to your interests/hobby which you would have filled whilst registering with them. Click on the newletters, you will be awarded one SMS!
Free sms. Now that is free lunch for me.
