Pandora is cool!!!...
Last September, I had a conversation with one of the Google staff in Sydney when she mentioned Pandora. It is a web based juke box that belts out almost any genre, song title and artist that you would like to listen. You do need to register, and experience one of the coolest thing that ever happened in the Internet beside Spam Emails. (Note: To all Hongkie fans, No Jackie Cheung, Alan Tam and to all Malay song fans : No Siti ... and certainly No P. Ramlee and no classical/opera genre yet)
How Pandora works is a big wonder, it has a super huge database of music collection dubbed as Music Genome Project. All you have to do is to key in the artist or song name which will eventually becomes the station's name - Pandora will do the rest for you. It will play songs based on the type of artist or song that is nominated by you and marvelously evolves from that. Simple - albeit you do need Flash embedded into your browser.
There will be times when Pandora can be quite weird. You'll get Frank Sinatra at his 40s doing recorded live gig as part of the playlist on Robbie William's station! Not exactly what we are looking for if your favourite Robbie number is Rock DJ.
Pandora is real handy in the office, if your boss and, of course, colleagues are easy on playing music in the background. Or else you have to settle for a decent pair of earphones.
I say check it out. I have 35 stations all together and my colleagues are loving it.

Let me invite you to take a look at http://pandorastations.com
I created the site to be a place to find and share Pandora stations. A great place to find new music.
Thanks!
