How Fast is your Internet Connection?

As most of you know that I've been to Korea, I was absolutely blown out of the water by their internet speed. I was at the rural area of Gangneung, and the speed they are 'complaining' for being slow was around appx 24Mbps. I heard it is common in Soeul that internet speed whizzing at 100Mbps.

For those who you do not know what numerical speed represents, it is actually simply like siphoning a bucket of water with bigger diameter of pipe. The bigger the diameter, the faster your internet download will become.

Myself I am using TPG Medium Plan, where I can theoretically cruise at 24Mbps. So far I have seen download as fast a 15-17Mbps. I pay $50 a month.

I wonder what is your speed at the moment?

Wanna know what internet speed r we having in KL? Or the streamyx I am subscribing at home for RM77 per month? 512ps.............wow..........check it out 512kbps, not mbps. Cibai kia, yet those rural buggers in Gangneung are complaining about 24mbps..................what the heck

Haha - 512kbps? What happened to Multimedia Supercorridor lah? Right now even mobile broadband (using the handphone network) in Sydney is twice faster ADSL in KL!
